Your Grace

Gracious and Merciful Father, in this intimate moment of prayer, I come to You, my creator and sustainer, seeking Your grace and understanding.
You are my creator who chose me to be in a relationship with You before time. You chose me not because You knew what I would do or be, but because of Your sovereign grace. It is through the Gospel of Your Son, Christ Jesus, that I became aware of my depravity and my inability to save myself from my sins. Your grace, Father, has the power to transform even the most broken and sinful, giving us hope and inspiration.
Father God, through Jesus, You have extended grace to me, and it is by your grace that I have been saved. Whilst I have been saved, I still need you every second of every day. Lord, I ask You to help me to comprehend Your grace more and more in my life. Father, I ask that you continue to increase the manifestations of Your grace In my life so that I may share the overflow of Your love with others.
Father, I ask that your grace inspire me to share that grace with others. That the works I do to glorify You reveal to those around me the true glory that is found in You. The love you give me is available to those who place their faith in Christ Jesus. I pray that the satisfaction I find in You will be seen by others, and by their coming to know and be satisfied in You, You will be glorified to the greatest level we in creation can give, showing how important and valued we are in Your eyes.
Father God, in You, we have found salvation; we have peace, love, grace, and mercy; all of this we have found in the person and teachings of Christ Jesus.
I thank You, Father, for taking this broken, dirty pile of rags and making it your child.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
