Your Glory

Father God,
It is You I worship, and You I glorify, for without You I have nothing. You sent Your beloved Son to save me in my sin and shame, and I still rebelled, but You called me.
Father God, I knew You, but I did not. I believed but did not understand, yet You called me. In your glory, You sent your servant to stand before me and tell me the gospel, and in my tears, I ignored them. A hardened heart refused to succumb to the truth, but You knew this before You elected me.
At the very bottom, Father God, I looked up. Your servant had tried, yet again, and this time You enabled me to hear, and I saw You. Your glory shone brighter than the sun, and my need for You burned like a flame.
Father God, it is You I worship and glorify, for without You, I have nothing. You changed a pile of dirty rags into Your child, a miracle. I worship You. I need nothing, for You give me everything. I glorify You. I am made righteous and rejoined to You, my Lord. I give You thanks and praise for your sacrifice that was made when I was destitute and depraved.
Father God, in You, I am most satisfied. I am made righteous in You, and in my sanctification, I grow closer to You every single day.
Father, You are the maker of heaven and earth. You know the hearts of every person. I pray for those who stand now in my discarded shoes that a servant would provide the gospel, the door would be opened, and You would save yet another lost sheep.
With my grateful and devoted heart, in Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
