Yes Number Four Matters.

I had someone question my "Christian Sabbath" blessings. I was told, "We are not Jewish." True, we are not Jewish, but Christianity does have a basis in Judaism. Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi. Keep the Sabbath Holy is the fourth commandment of God.

Quite simply if we keep commandments one through three and five through ten, why would we not keep number four? Of course, we would. Now we do not keep it under the 618 Jewish laws of restriction, but we do keep it as a commandment of God.

With that said:

May you find the peace and grace of the Lord on this Sabbath day. May you be rejuvenated in body and spirit. May you reflect on the mercies of God you have enjoyed as you prepare

for a new week. Today, enjoy fellowship and worship. Keep the Sabbath day Holy. It is God's command.

Peace and Grace!
