What time is it?

“But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” (Micah 7:7 ESV)
At a wedding tonight, I heard the matron of honor say that she told the bride it was her time. It was time for her to put herself first. Now I know the groom; he is a God-fearing man with whom I share a ministry. Therefore, I know about where his new wife is with the Lord.
To tell one that it is their time is ok, but is it their time? Yes, if it is to take time for herself, sure. Take a break; you need a rest; take some time for yourself. But can we say it is your time to find love? No, we cannot. God writes these things; only he knows if and when we will find love. We still have to look for it. We must keep our eyes open to those God places before us for everything, not just love.
My point is to be patient and wait on the Lord. God is steadfast in His love and deep with His grace and mercies. My friend was looking for a while, and boy, did he find some winners, not. I kept telling him God would send her to you when He was ready. After frequent reminders, he came to me and said, “He had found love.” I was never happier tonight to see God’s work before me.
God does all things in His time, not ours. Micah was right. God will hear you, but remember that what you ask for may not be in his plan. Like Micah, look to the Lord. God wrote the beginning before the end. Place your trust and faith in Him. He already knows what’s in store for you
.
Peace and Grace!
