Trust with Faith

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)

When we try to understand the workings of the world around us, the patterns of our life, or the reason we are where we are in our lives, good or bad, we can only flounder without understanding. God saw your life before you were conceived. Trust all things to the Lord, for only He knows the reasons why.

Prayer of Faith

Blessed Lord,

I pray for relief. Help me to stop my attempts to control or understand why. Help me to trust that you know all things and all things in my life have a purpose. Help to deliver me from the fear, anger, and anxiety placed before me by Satan. Help me to dispel his meddling through faith and scripture. Father, I know you are always with me. I worship, praise, and give you thanks for your mercy and grace. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen
