Merciful Father,

It is Sunday, Lord, and we thank you for another day to worship you. Lord, we come before you first and foremost with hearts filled with gratitude. You have helped us through another week, and as we stand at the beginning of a new week, we ask for new blessings. Lord, we begin this week and every week with faith and trust in your mercies. Father God, I pray the Spirit will rejuvenate us and that we will be one with you. Lord, help us to remember that it is not solely by going to Sunday service alone that we worship and come before You; rather, our relationship exists because of our communion with You. Our satisfaction in you, God, is the greatest form of worship we can offer. You are all things holy and separate, merciful and wise, loving and pure.
