There will be a day...

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” (2 Corinthians 5:10 ESV)

We will all stand before the almighty. I think about that day and what I will say.

God: “My child, you are here to face judgment.”

Me: “Father, I know, and I know I was a sinner.”

“I have sinned, Father. I have rebelled against you constantly. I have broken almost every law you gave Moses, and I am a weak man.”

God: “I know this, my child, so what makes you think you are worthy to be here.”

Me: “Father, I am not worthy. On my own, I am a failure, incapable of anything alone. But Father, I am not here because of me; I am here because of Him, your Son. It is only by His blood, His mercy, and His grace that I am worthy to stand before you O’ God.”

God: “Enter my child and kneel before your brother, your Savior, and your God.”

What will you say?
