"I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Sometimes we get so caught up in the tribulations of the world that we forget we are no longer a part of it. The wolves of the world attack the flock, and we are scattered. When you are troubled, fall back and find your place in Christ.
Blessed Lord,
It is in you I find solace. Your peace and grace fall upon me like the morning dew on the green grass. Lord, I am troubled and I have forgotten to whom I belong. Strengthen me, O' Lord, for you are my protector, my shepherd. When the wolf bites at my heels, you are there to stifle him. When the world crashes over like an ocean wave, it is you that releases me from its grip. Lord, thank you for your sacrifice that I may be called your child.
In the precious name of Christ, I pray, Amen.
Grace and peace be with you.
