The Prophecy of Joel

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream, and young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28 Esv)

Lord,

As I look around me in this world, I see the turning away of your people. I see the capturing of our children by a demented society. Lord, I pray for the women of Christianity to be emboldened by the Holy Spirit that they may teach. Let them teach our children of the Christ, of you, Father, and of the Holy Spirit. Fill our women daily, Lord, with the Holy Spirit that their sanctity may withstand the pressures of a defiled world. Father, strengthen them to guide our children and other women to you. Strengthen the home school moms as they educate their children. Strengthen the women of ministry so that they may strengthen other women. As written in Joel, a promise was made of the endowment of the Spirit upon men and women. Father, I pray that the prophecy of Joel that was put forth at the Pentecost remains with your faithful. Strengthen your daughters, Lord, for they hold the key to our children.
