“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died. (2 Corinthians 5:14 ESV)
Abba, Father,
I do not know why you would choose to send your Son to die for a sinner like me, but I am thankful for your love.
Lord, I do not know why, even when we still sin, we are forgiven by Your blood, but I am grateful for Your mercy.
Jesus, although I am a sinner, You died for me. Because of my love for You, I have placed my faith in You, and I have died to the world. I worship You; I praise You, and You are my treasure and the center of my life. Without You, I was dead. With You, I am alive, and I now know the difference.
May you be worshiped and praised, glorified, and relished as our Lord, our Savior, and our God.
In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
