Sabbath Prayer

Abba, Father, you lead us from this world into the quiet of your house. I pray you will grant us grace to worship you in the Spirit and in truth, to comfort our souls and stir our purpose and our desire to be holier through grace. Lord, enable us to execute the work you put before us and allow us to be your conduit, that your Word may be spread to the nations. Lord, strengthen us that we may not fear the darkness when we do that work that places others in fear, doubt, and apprehension, the work you have committed to us. Father God, grant us rest and peace on this Sabbath, recharging us, rebuilding us, and lifting us in peace so that may we worship you not with our lips, but in word and deed all the days of our lives; this I pray through Jesus Christ our Messiah. Amen.
