23 “Forge a chain! For the land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence. 24 I will bring the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the strong, and their holy places shall be profaned. 25 When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there shall be none.” Ezekiel 7:23-25 ESV)

The degradation of society is necessary, much like the rejection of Christ. God established a plan for creation, deciding the end before the beginning. Everything we see around us is in God’s control. God does not create evil; however, he does use it for his plan. This world is in Satan's control; we know this through scripture. Evil will continue.

So, what do we do? We spread the gospel. The glory of the incarnation, the virgin birth, the ministry of Christ, his passion and crucifixion, and His resurrection are the only things that can turn the elect from evil to salvation. When Christ comes, and He will, he will crush evil, just as he described in Ezekiel. Soon they will seek salvation, but the offer will have been withdrawn, and the remaining will be cast into the lake of fire.

Harsh words, yes, but necessary. Make no mistake; scripture is inerrant. The Word of God does not fail. Having fulfilled hundreds of Old Testament messianic prophecies, Christ will fulfill the prophecies of the New Testament as well—his own prophecies.

Remain devoted, worship, and glorify the Lord through whom we enjoy complete satisfaction—a satisfaction that glorifies God above all things. If you do not know Christ, reach out to us here at InMessiah. We can help answer your questions, help you understand how Christ saves, and guide you to a traditional church.

Grace and Peace!

One sign of a genuine believer is devotion to Christ. To be devoted means to cling to Jesus and steadfastly persevere with Him. Out of love and gratitude, we express our dedication to Him through three things: a passion to obey, a spirit of humility, and a servant's heart.
