Most Heavenly Father,

As we enter Holy Week, we pray that you would place upon our hearts and minds the pressures and sacrifices of our Savior leading up to His sacrifice. Help us to remember that without His atoning sacrifice, we would be destined to suffer the wrath of God for our sins.

Father God, remind us that Jesus came and died willingly, knowing that only He could pay the price for the sins of humanity. Help us understand this divine plan of redemption that God had in place before creation, a

plan that reassures us of your unfailing love and commitment to our salvation. Please help us remember that we were purchased at a price and what a costly price it was. Please help us remember that we were saved not because of our value but because yours. You are an eternal, transcendently pure treasure to us. A treasure hidden in a field that we give up everything to have, and we glorify you.

Lord, help us to emulate your obedience to the Father so that as children of God, we may be pleasing to Him. Our hearts are open to you, Lord, and you know them better than ourselves; we cannot hide our iniquity, and we pray you will not hide your face from us because of our failures. Father, we pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit so that we may continue to turn from our sins in our growing sanctification. We are but flesh and weak, and we humbly acknowledge that sin is spurned when we rely solely on you for our satisfaction in all things.

Lastly, Lord, we pray you will make us bold in our faith. We pray you would empower us to spread the gospel this Holy Week, understanding that we have a crucial role in sharing the good news. May we be the vessels through which those blind and deaf to the good news, your Gospel, may come to find faith this Easter week.

All things are possible through you, and we pray all these things in Christ's name, Amen.
