Thank you, Father God, for allowing me to wake up to see another day. A day which is like no other because You make all things new, knowing that newness of life only comes through faith in the finished works of the Lord Jesus Christ, who left the comforts of Heaven to teach men that He is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to the Father but by Him.
Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for the sins of all mankind, including my sins, past, present, and future. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for rising from the dead with all power in Your hands and for sitting at the Father’s right hand, interceding for me. Thank You for never leaving me nor forsaking me.
Thank You for sending the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to dwell inside of me, for He is the guarantee of my salvation, a salvation that was chosen in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world. Thanking you that by faith, I am no longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness because I am covered in the holy blood of Christ, who gives me strength.
But although I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, I still sin in thought, word, and deed. I confess my sins to you, Father God, and humbly ask that you clean me up from the inside out and restore the joy of my salvation.
Father God, I humbly ask that you keep a hedge of protection around my family, friends, and the body of Christ. I ask that by Your Spirit, believers will boldly proclaim His name at every opportunity. I ask that your Spirit will continue to help believers walk as Jesus walked; love as Jesus loved; and show mercy, grace, and kindness to all whom we come in contact with, reminding us that we are ambassadors of Christ.
But most importantly, Father, I pray that You be glorified in everything we do because only You are worthy to be praised.
Thank you, Father God, for allowing me the privilege of prayer. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for loving me like no one else ever can or will, and thank you, Holy Spirit, for leading me and guiding me according to the Word and Will of God. Amen.
Peace and Grace!
