“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” (Matthew 24:26 ESV)

In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks on the destruction of the temple and the second coming. Today’s verse reflects that no one knows when the second coming will take place, no one, with the exception of God the Father.

All across the internet, people are saying this confrontation in the Middle East IS the end times, the final bebattle. Muslim hard-liner clerics claim the same thing according to their satanic eschatology. My friends let me say it again, only God the Father knows when the second coming and the day of the Lord will take place.

Are you worried, nervous about this confrontation? Why? Are you unsure about your salvation, or just not ready? Being a Christian means we trust in the Lord. Jesus told us, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” (Matthew 6:25-27) Faith also implies trust. I trust that whatever happens as a result of this conflict, God will use it for His glory.

While a resist delving into the depths of Revelation, let us just say, many things will happen before the day of the Lord is revealed. The important thing is that if you are a Christian, young or old, you too should look to the day of the Lord. If you are young, remember heaven is indescribable and far better than the world. You would be blessed, having never felt the pain of old age and life's challenges. If you are older, you should know that an eternal body, which all believers will have, never gets old, never breaks down, and God wipes away all the pain and tears. “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

So, even if these false prophets and satanic clerics say this is the end, so what? They know nothing. Are you trusting in the world? Are you trusting the moronic internet ravings of those clueless about scripture? Our God controls all things.

However, we should be spiritually prepared and devoted to the Lord. The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. (1Thessalonians 5:2). As such, we should test ourselves in the Spirit just as Paul taught. (2 Corinthians 13:5) Trust in Christ, He alone is all we have.

Do you know Christ as your Savior? Have you repented of your sins before God? Is your faith elsewhere, or in the Risen Son of God? If you do not know Jesus Christ as your savior, or if you question your salvation and need guidance, reach out to us here at In Messiah.com. We can show you the scriptures that show the truth of salvation.

Grace and Peace.
