My Family

“so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.” (Romans 15:32 ESV)

Paul spoke often on the importance of fellowship. He traveled frequently with brothers who helped him spread the Gospel. In both Romans and Galatians, Paul wrote about the personal impact of the foundation of faith in fellowship. When we are together, our faith refreshes us. When it comes down to it, our time together, our ministries, and our studies are not happenstance; they are acts of God. His grace invites us to the table of fellowship, where we find love, joy, and blessings provided by His hands.

Prayer

Father God,

I thank you for your involvement in my life. Holy Spirit, thank you for your voice, your leading, and your guidance. Father, I thank you for the Christian family you have given me. Your blessings are multiplied by their fellowship and love. Thank you, Father, for saving a sinner like me, cleansing me, raising me from death in the world, and making me your servant. Help me today, Lord, to reach someone who does not know you or strengthen one who does. Forgive my sins, Lord, for they are many. My love and devotion for you continue to grow despite my failure. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
