Mercy and Grace

"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 ESV

My favorite attribute of God is His patience. What we deserve right now is the wrath of God for our transgressions, but God is patient with his children. He is kind and merciful; thankfully for us, God is slow to anger. Blessed be the Lord.

Most Benevolent Father,

Thank you for your patience with a sinner like me. While not worthy of your mercy and grace you continue to provide it to me despite my failures. Father, continue to send the Holy Spirit to strengthen me and help me as I continue to grow in you. Help me to separate that which separates us. In the name of your Son Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen
