Make the Goal!

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16 ESV).

Today is the beginning of the work week. We are tired from the weekend, and most of us dread this morning. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 5. We are the light of Christ. Burn brightly so that others may see the light and be curious, drawing nearer to it. Make it your goal to share the Gospel with someone this week. If you pray to God to give you that opportunity, trust me, He will.

Be bold in your faith and share the word with as much enthusiasm as you can. Satan loses his grip on another person when we become a conduit for God, and Christ saves someone.

Blessed by the Lord who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight. ( Psalm 144:1). Remember it is spiritual warfare at its best.

Prayer:

Benevolent Father,

Allow me to serve you and spread the Gospel to the lost sheep. Father, I pray you will use me to guide someone to Christ so they may be free of the beast's grip. Lord, you are all powerful and mighty; use your servant to do your will and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
