Most Wise and Eternal Father,
I come to you this Resurrection morning in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your awesome mercy and grace. Thanking You, Lord, that I can rest on Your every promise because You are a God that cannot lie. You are a sovereign and faithful God. The splendor of Your majesty is beyond comparison to anything that I can think or imagine. You are holy; You are omnipotent; and Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.
Thank You, Lord God, for loving me so much that You would Your Son Jesus to the cross at Calvary to die for my sins. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking on the punishment that I deserved. Thank You for being obedient to the Father’s will by dying for me; thank You for rising from the dead for me; and for exchanging my sin for Your righteousness. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the gift of faith, and for being the author and the finisher of my faith. I thank You for the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and I humbly ask that You forgive me for the sins that I’ve committed in thought, word, and deed. Please restore the joy of my salvation so that I might boldy sing Your praises, knowing that He who has begun a greater work in me is faithful to perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
I pray, Father God, for your continued protection and provision of the Saints all around the world. I pray that You continue to comfort those who mourn, to strengthen those who are suffering, and to help us stay focused on being obedient to Your Word and to Your will. Loosen our tongues, Father, so that we would unashamedly praise Your holy name, give someone our individual testimonies about what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for us, and to share the good news – that peace with God can be found through faith in the finished works of Jesus. Continue to use us as You see fit, so that You may be glorified in all things.
Thank You for inclining Your ear to me, Father, and I pray that You will continue to fill me with joy and peace as I take up my cross every day and follow You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
🙏 amen 🙏
