Intercessory Prayer

Faithful God,

We bless Your name for You are good and ever true. Your mercies are always available to your people. Your love overflows, and we never thirst. Your peace has descended upon us, and we are spared desperation in the desert of life in this world.

Lord, we pray for each other that we will remain faithful.

We pray that you will continue to call your children and grow Your church.

We pray for our leaders, whom You have placed in positions of authority for Your glory.

We pray you will continue to spread the light and that the dark cannot overcome.

We pray for the weak, the hungry, and those in need; may their needs be met.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for our enemies, those who speak lies against us, who persecute us, those who hunt us like ravenous wolves, awaken them from the darkness and bring them into the light that they may know You, the one true living God.

We pray all this in the name of our Savior, Christ Jesus. Amen.
