Merciful Father,

I pray that you might hear the thankfulness overflowing from my heart because of the love and mercy you have shown me despite my sins.

Lord, You have given me more than I deserve and answered my prayers and requests for Your intervention in my life and those I love. You have surrounded me with the faithful community who lift me in prayer when I am low. You have given us miracles that cause us to overflow with emotion. I am so thankful, Lord, for the gifts You have given your servant and for the strength of our communal prayers.

Father God, I pray for my brothers and sisters that You would shield them from the enemy. He prowls at every corner and accuses us, infusing doubt in Your children. Shield them, Lord, and remind them they are Yours.

Help us focus on You, Father God. Help us submit to Your will and choose between self-serving ambition and ambition for Your glory. Help us grow in sanctification so that we may draw closer and closer to You. Help us desire to serve You above all things. Let the joy of service drive our daily lives. I pray the Spirit will overwhelm Your children, and they will follow His guidance, heeding His convictions.

Father God, I am glad You know my heart because my mouth cannot adequately express my thankfulness. You know in my heart that You are the center of my life, and I find total satisfaction in You, Father God, for without You, I have nothing. I humbly acknowledge my failures, Lord, and I pray for Your strength and mercy to guide my repentance away from that which separates us.

I pray for all these things, Father, so that Your children may glorify You in a way that is pleasing to You. My hands have no power, but all things are possible through You.

In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
