“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)

Some days you wake up, look at what stands before you in your day and see a mountain. We know what the challenges will be, and we do not look forward to it. Let’s compound that with family troubles, money troubles, and health troubles, which seem insurmountable. We wonder if we will make it through the day.

Start your day with the Lord. Present your challenges to Him and ask Him to guide you through the day. We all have someone else we rely on, but if we put the Lord first, we have nothing to fear. God lifts us up when we are down; if we are in need, He provides what we need, not necessarily what we want, but what we need. If we are in pain or sick, we should pray for God’s healing hands to hold us.

Remember, we all have a cross to carry, and our days will not be perfect until we stand before the Lord. Make the best of this world even though we are separate from it we are passing through. God will strengthen you, He will help you, and in his mighty merciful hands, He will lift you up.

Mercies and Grace!

Prayer

Lord God, I pray for your strength. Today I am challenged, Lord, and I ask for your help. Lord, watch over me as I walk through this world. Help Father to stay focused on you. Help me to be a reflection of you in my actions and interactions. Allow me, Lord, to serve you today. In whatever way you call me, please help me to answer.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
