Happy Fourth of July

Father God,

Today, we pray for our country, and that You would sustain our democracy.

We pray for our leaders at all levels that they also desire to sustain this country.

We pray for your intervention, knowing that a leader's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; You turn it wherever you will. (Psalm 21:1)

We pray for an awakening, a great awakening, and a wave of revival in our great country so that many would come to know salvation by faith through your grace.

We pray for our military that their leaders would lead with honor and dignity, and that our men and women in harm's way would receive your protection.

Lord, for 249 years, You have sustained this country, and we are grateful.

We pray that You will continue to sustain us until the time of Your return in Your power and glory, to establish a new heaven, a new earth, and a new Jerusalem, (Rev 21:1-2) and to call Your children to You.

God, please continue to bless these United States of America.

For your Son's sake, and in His name, we pray, Amen.
