Got What?

“And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.” (Acts 16:18 ESV)
As Jesus showed us, the Sabbath is not for sitting in a corner obeying the 618 Jewish laws. When we leave our Sunday celebration, we should feel refreshed, rejuvenated, rejoiceful, and restored. Share that with someone, anyone. Where do you go when you leave your service? Is it lunch or brunch? One thing that I occasionally do is ask my server if there is anything we can pray for them. This is also a special thing Brother Jimmy does as well. You might be surprised at the answer. Sunday is the perfect day to share the joy of the Gospel!
We all remember the very successful “Got Milk” advertisement. Let’s switch to “Got Gospel?” Who knows, it worked got the dairy farmers!
May the peace and grace of Jesus Christ be with you and your families on this Sabbath Day.
Holy Father,
Grant us the strength, peace, and grace to spread your word on this Sabbath day. In Jesus'
name, I pray. Amen
