Give Thanks, Always

“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1Thessalonians 5:18 ESV)

Yesterday was Father’s Day, I, for one, have much to be thankful for, and it is not hard to see. In all of the gifts, cards, family, and friends, it was not also hard to see that all the blessings were from God.

Sometimes, seeing the blessings in the situation around us is hard, so I will pose two things to you. If you are experiencing trials and traumas, do not forget God will carry you through them. Two, Our life is full of ups and downs, and if we are not experiencing either, we must be in the presence of the Lord. Our assurances tell us that if you are a Christian, you have already passed from death to life through Christ Jesus. This friends, is God’s truth.

While on this earth, look to give thanks in all situations. There is always a side to everything that reflects God.
