Merciful Father,

We are sinful people, and while many of us acknowledge our sins, many choose to ignore them. Father, I pray for forgiveness of my sins, for they are ever before me. Though I strive to be like you, I fail. I pray for those like me who know You and struggle with their sinful nature. I pray that you would lighten our burden, moving us forward in our sanctification and helping us to develop a greater resistance to the temptations of the evil one.

Lord, I pray for those who do not know You that they may come to faith through Your grace and receive the free gift of salvation. I pray their eyes and ears would be opened to your Gospel. I pray that they would come to find fulfillment and satisfaction in You. That they would see you as the transcendently pure treasure that You are.

Father, I pray for those who are sick, especially the ministry brothers with whom I share Your work. I acknowledge their struggles and pray for their healing. I also pray for the families of those who are ill, that you would strengthen them and provide them with the comfort they need. I pray for those who are ready to leave this world that they and their loved ones would find hope and assurance in the resurrection, remembering Lazarus and the daughter of Jairus, that you are the way, the truth, and the life.

Lord, you are the Almighty, capable of all things. I know that you hear all our prayers. I pray that You would uplift those who are in despair and heal those who are in pain and sickness. Lord, open the eyes and ears of those who have yet to know You. Guide those who will sow the seeds of the gospel, that they may flourish and bear fruit.

Father God, You are all-powerful, all-knowing, and merciful. We worship You; we praise and glorify You. In the name of Your Son, Christ Jesus, we pray, Amen.
