Forever Grateful

Thank You, Lord, for the marvelous things You have done, and for what You continue to do in the lives of Your children. I thank You for Your grace; I thank You for Your mercy. I thank You for Your patience with me when I stumble in thought, word, and deed, which is way too often. In spite of my disobedience, You continue to pick me up, to clean me up, and to put me back on the right path – that narrow path that leads to life everlasting through faith in the finished works of Your only begotten Son.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for living for me, for dying for me, and for rising for me. Thank You for being my intercessor, and for justifying me by faith in Your blood. I love You, and I’m so glad that I do not have to navigate through this chaotic world without You. You’ve promised that You’ll always be with me by way of Your Holy Spirit, so, therefore, I am never alone.

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for comforting me like no one else can, and for loving me like no one else does. God, You are awesome, and I am forever grateful for the good and perfect gifts that You’ve showered down upon me: the gift of faith; salvation; the privilege of prayer; a personal relationship with You; peace with You; a reasonable portion of health and strength; loving family and friends; my brothers and sisters in Christ; and every provision I need. “Thank You” will never be enough to describe my gratitude, and I anxiously await the day when I get to see You face to face, knowing that the coming of the Lord is closer now than when I first believed. Until that time, I ask that You use me for Your glory in whatever way You choose. I love You, Lord, because You first loved me, and I thank You for inclining Your ear to me.

In Jesus’s precious name, I pray, Amen.
