Lord, hear my prayer,
Use me as your instrument to reveal your peace to those in turmoil. To those harboring hatred and discontent, let me be the one to sow mercy and grace. For the sick and injured, let me be the vessel of your love. For those with no hope, use me to reveal the truth so you can instill faith. For those in desperation and fear, please help me to be the source of hope. For those in darkness, let me be your light. To those experiencing loss, let me be the one to reveal the joy of your Gospel.
Merciful Father, give me strength and trust that I may seek to console, not be consoled. Not to seek love because you have already loved me, but to love as you so selflessly loved; Your Spirit has revealed to me that it is by our giving that we receive more than we have ever sown. That by forgiving our debtors, you forgive our sin debt, the greatest debt of all—the miracle of all miracles. I am committed to your will.
