Can You Hear Me Now?

“proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” (Acts 28:31)

How comfortable are you evangelizing? For some of us, it is not an easy thing. The mere mention of having to talk to someone about Jesus scares us. There are many excuses; I don’t know enough, No one would listen to me, and I have nothing to offer anyone about Jesus. Paul was an example that showed us how pathetic our excuses are. Paul’s entire life after meeting Jesus was about spreading the Gospel. It was Paul’s passion, and the Gospel consumed Paul. Christ changed his life in such a way that Paul never looked back.

At the end of Luke’s Book of Acts, we find Paul under house arrest. Paul had no way to support himself and relied on friends. Despite his situation, Paul continued to get the Gospel out to others. He mentored many who would take up his cross and follow in the steps of Paul. The mentors would live passionately for Christ.
