Be Bold!

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” (Job 1:6-7 ESV)

I love the Book of Job. If you look really hard, you may see yourself within its words. Satan walked to and fro upon the earth just as he does now. Many Christians doubt this is still the case, and many more realize it is the case. In this place we live now, evil is everywhere. Satan is the prince of this world; we know this by the words of Christ. We also know that Satan is doomed. We should remember that Satan’s goal is to take as many as he can from the Lord until he is cast into the lake of fire.

God is all-powerful, He is all lovely, and His love for His people is endless. We must share that love with the lost so that they may return to the face of God. Never give up on someone. If someone you know is wrapped up in the lies of Satan and the sins of this world, never give up on them. Love them and remind them that God loves them. Whatever sin dominates their life can be taken from them through the blood of Christ.

It’s scary sometimes, but wait for that one time you share the gospel and see the change come across that person’s face. You will know God has worked through you to reach them. Be bold in the name of Christ and share the gospel!
