Be Blessed this Friday

Abba Father,

Thank you for bringing us to the end of another work week. Please help us purge the distractions and frustrations that weigh heavy on our shoulders. Father, I pray you will clear a path that leads us to solitude and communion with you. Help us to focus on your mercies and grace so readily given to us, Lord. Feed the burning in our hearts to be with you and you in us. Feed us your Word so that we may be filled and satisfied. Rejuvenate our faith, Lord, through your Spirit that lives in us.

Father, lead us from the temptations of the world. Let us walk in righteousness, shining the light of God like a mirror reflects the sun. Help us to bring others to the Light of God, the blessed Lamb, the Word that became flesh, our brother, mediator, and Savior in whose name we pray Christ Jesus, Amen.
