Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples. (Psalm 105:1; ESV)
Hallelujah to the Lord our God, for he reigns with power and majesty forever and ever! All blessings and honor belong to you, Lord! You will forever remain on the throne, and all of creation is subject to your sovereign authority. Your right hand is glorious in power and might, and with my whole heart, I shall praise you all the days of my life. For you, Lord, are my strength and my song. Your love, Father, is a precious, everlasting love. You are holy, overflowing with compassion, tender mercies, and grace beyond measure.
You are a God who cannot lie, and you remain faithful to your children even when we fall short of your glory because of the sinfulness of our flesh. We thank you that in Christ Jesus, we are no longer subject to the wrath and judgement that will come to those who willfully reject your Son. Thank you, Lord, for choosing us in Him before the foundation of the world, and for forgiving our iniquities. Thank you for redeeming us from the pit, for placing your Holy Spirit within us, and for cleansing us with the blood of the Lamb. Your precious blood, Lord Jesus, has made us whiter than snow in the eyes of the Father, and faith in your atoning sacrifice has supernaturally separated us from our sins as far as the east is from the west. The believer’s name is now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and nothing can blot it out. You are our deliverer, Lord Jesus! These gift are indescribable and too weighty to comprehend. We joyfully receive them through faith, and we thank you for the marvelous things you have done.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made by your compassionate hand, Father, and Your Word makes it clear that you do not wish that anyone would perish. Therefore, we humbly ask that you continue to be patient with those who have not yet confessed Christ as Lord and Savior. We boldly ask that you continue to use your children to share the Good News and our testimonies of your goodness, in hopes that the unbelieving world will repent and confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father.
Thank you, dear Lord, for loving me; for forgiving me; for healing me; and for never leaving me. I will love you with all of my heart, soul, and strength. My soul longs for you, and in you my joy is complete.
In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.
