A Sunday Blessing

Abba, Father, I pray for uninterrupted rest on this Sabbath Day for us and all our loved ones.

May your grace and mercy dispel the anger, fear, anxiety, and regret that may lie unspoken in our families. I pray that you will bless us, that we may be people of the Word that became flesh and who walked among us. That we may be the people who reflect you to the world. Merciful Father, It is in your creation that we rejoice. It is the power of Your Word in which we are protected; it is in the presence of Your Holy Spirit who reveals Your love for our family and friends. It is through You that all things are provided, and we are blessed in fulfillment. I pray that you will open our eyes so we may recognize our blessings. You alone, Lord are the Giver of Life and Love; grant us Your peace this Sabbath day and always, through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen
