A Sabbath Prayer

Abba, Father,

Grant us and all our loved ones uninterrupted rest on this Sabbath Day. May Your Presence drive out any anger, fear, worry, and regret between us. Send your blessing upon us, that we may be people of the Word. Lord God, We rejoice in the beauty of Your world, the crisp air, the brilliant sun, the power of Your Word, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the love of family and friends. It is from You we receive every good and perfect gift. Open our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and our hearts to love as you love us. You are our creator, the giver of Life and Love; grant us Your peace this day and always; we ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
