Almighty God, we pray that as You have been pleased to draw us to the truth of the gospel, we, as a congregation, actively seek to be drawn from the darkness in which we have been struggling to breathe. We acknowledge Your revelation in the form of Your only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, and we understand that it is our rebellion that prevents us from being transformed into your eternal glory.

Lord, grant that we may grow in sanctification through the light of truth. We pray that every one of us may be convicted of our former ignorance and that we may compellingly confess that we, who were once Your lost sheep, lost until, by our faith, we were made righteous by Your hand.

May we then proceed, following Your course, our holy calling. Father God, until You gather Your church into heaven, where not only shall we bow in the never-ending light of Your glory, which now rules us according to the fullness of our flesh, but we will eternally rejoice in our worship of You, Father God. I pray that in this earthly life, the splendor of Your glory shall shine in us, that through our trials and faithfulness, You will render us concordant to Your image.

Through Christ alone, our Lord, we pray. Amen
