A Prayer for Divine Pleasing

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart that longs to be pleasing in Your sight. Not for my glory, nor for the approval of others, but for Your honor alone. Teach me to walk in Your ways, to love what You love, and to hate what You hate. May my faith be genuine, rooted deeply in Your Word and sustained by Your Spirit.

Lord, grant me humility to recognize my weakness and dependence on You. Keep me from pride and self-righteousness, which only distance me from Your presence. Help me to live a life marked by obedience, not out of fear, but out of love and gratitude for Your mercy.

Transform my desires, Lord, so that they align with Your will. Let my actions reflect Your holiness and my words bring glory to Your name. When temptation comes, strengthen me to stand firm, knowing that pleasing You is worth every sacrifice.

May my life be a testimony of Your grace, a light in the darkness, and a witness to Your saving power. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is pleasing to You and through whom I find my hope and strength. Amen.
