A Cup That Overflows

Merciful Father,

I thank You that by Your Holy Spirit, You have bestowed on Your children the gifts of the Spirit, that by Your grace are to be used for the encouragement, teaching, and enrichment of the whole body of Christ. Thank You, Lord, for the way that You have provided for each of us in a very special and precious way by enabling us, by Your grace, to make our own unique contribution and helping to further Your plans and purposes in the body of Christ. Father, You have given me a special heart of love toward my brothers and sisters in Christ, and although you have gifted me to teach, many have not received this gift. I pray that You are developing them in the precious gift of encouragement, mercy, and love towards my brothers and sisters in Christ. Although we are sinners, Father, I pray you will continue to grow us into useful servants of the Lord, and that our cup will overflow with the glory, grace, and mercy of your Son. In the name of your Son, Christ Jesus, I pray amen.

Friends, pray for each other and the body of Christ that we all may be a beacon of light in the darkness. Pray that we may all help the Lord gather the scattered flock, leading them by His hand back into the sheepfold.
