The Messiah

Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, the Mashiach, the Savior, the Son of the living God. Jesus was sent by God the Father as a Human, fully man, and fully God. The reason is that only a human could pay for human sin, but only a God could withstand the wrath of God. Jesus, by his blood and sacrifice, gave each of us, God's elect, the opportunity to have our sins forgiven and be rejoined in a relationship with God. Through our faith in Jesus and the repentance of our sins, we are made right before God. We are then saved by God, for God, by God himself. Most importantly we are saved from God's wrath against sins.

There is one way to have assurances that when we die we will go to heaven and those assurance come through Christ Jesus.
